Throughout history very few people have been able to pull off the task of being ambidextrous and have been able to do it well. A right handed cartoonist that had tried to draw a cartoon using his or her left hand may have gotten somewhat confused during the process. It has been typical that a person using their right hand uses a particular part of the brain a majority of the time while a left handed person uses the opposite side of the brain. Another thing that may have happened to the right handed artist has been the slop factor. When one has been used to using one hand and it very talented drawing with that hand may become very sloppy when trying to use the opposite hand. It has always been an adventure to try to switch up the routine to some but if it has been working for an artist up until now, not changing it may have been ideal.
