Left handedness is gaining more and more popularity and awareness since more and more individuals seem to become left handed. This is a result of the fact that in the past many left handed people were forced to change their dominant hand simply because being left handed was not socially compatible. Nowadays such practices do not longer count as left handed facts and people are allowed to choose the dominant hand that they wish. However, being left handed can be a challenge and this is why more research into the subject is needed. One should always remember that left handers live in a world that has been designed for right handers and that this cannot be easy for them. One the other side, left handed children are known to be more creative. They will most likely embrace the arts and writing will come in time. They may be very talented as musicians, actors or athletes so once they pass the tricky period when they have to get accustomed with a right handed world, they have all the chances to shine.
